The Founder

A physician who got tired of the hype

Pomoni was founded by Dr. Peter Matos, D.O., MPH. The science on olive polyphenols was genuinely exciting — but the shelf didn't match it. Brands competed on who could print the biggest number, often using tests that inflate the figure rather than measure it honestly.

His reaction was simple: if we make a claim, we should be able to hand you the lab report behind it.

From a single Greek grove

The best polyphenols come from olives picked early, when their compounds peak, and pressed within hours before they fade. You can't rush it and you can't fake it — that's ypomoni.

We harvest early-harvest Koroneiki olives, test at the grove and per batch, and verify with HPLC — publishing certificates you can read.
