Daily, like training itself
This daily protocol is engineered for your training demands if:
Your legs are still cooked the next day and you can't back up a hard session.
Your recovery score is red all week and you're not sure why.
You keep breaking down every time you string together big training weeks.
You reach for ibuprofen after every long effort and know it's not a long-term plan.
You just want one daily recovery habit you can actually stick with—supporting how you bounce back without blunting the gains you train so hard for.
That's why Dr. Pete Matos set out to package the Mediterranean lifestyle inside one daily protocol.
Olive polyphenols are among the most studied compounds in the Mediterranean diet. Here is how the research maps onto training.
Real olive polyphenols to support your body's recovery so you can train tomorrow.
A food-level daily habit. Not a megadose antioxidant bomb that mutes the training signal your body adapts to.
Third-party tested; Informed Sport certified.
There are really two kinds of recovery:
The things you do: supplements, ice baths, massage guns, compression. Most only work in the moment, and some (like the post-session ice bath) can even blunt your gains.
What your body naturally runs on: food, rest, sleep. These are free but foundational, and it does more than everything else combined. This is where you actually rebuild, get stronger and recover the most.
External recovery should only exist to support your innate recovery.
Phenolia is the only external protocol built on innate principles. It’s a food-derived daily habit that works with your body, on a scientifically proven ibuprofen-like pathway that supports a healthy recovery and inflammatory response while being gentle enough to take every single day.
One daily protocol that draws its polyphenols from three sources, not one - olive oil extract, olive leaf extract, and Greek Mountain Tea - for a broad spectrum of olive polyphenols (oleocanthal, oleacein, hydroxytyrosol and more).
Every batch is HPLC-verified. That means you are getting the full, natural spectrum of olive polyphenols, just as they occur in real food.

Our founder, Dr. Pete Matos is a double board certified physician for the Department of Defense and first responders. He is also an endurance athlete who bikes 6,500 miles a year.
He kept noticing the same thing in his patients. The ones taking 3–4 shots of high-phenolic olive oil a day were bouncing back better and supporting a healthy inflammatory response.
The catch? Nobody wants to down four shots of olive oil a day. So his patients asked him to put it in a pill.
Dr. Pete got to work and partnered with the University of Athens to build Phenolia and committed to staying true to the science behind how it works.
You do not recover on race day. You recover in the ordinary days between sessions — which is exactly where a daily polyphenol habit fits.
Polyphenol benefits build with daily intake, the way training adaptations build with consistent work — not with a single heroic dose.
The goal is a balanced inflammatory response, not switching inflammation off — inflammation is part of how the body adapts to training.
Heart, joints, focus and healthy aging are the foundation every training block is built on.

Analyzed in triplicate at the University of Athens Faculty of Pharmacy using the International Olive Council's official method (COI/T.20/Doc No 29). Most brands publish the flattering number. HPLC is the strict one. We publish it anyway.
In 2005, researchers reported in Nature that oleocanthal, the compound behind extra-virgin olive oil's peppery throat sting, acts on the same COX enzymes that ibuprofen targets (Beauchamp et al., Nature, 2005). It's why a fresh-pressed Greek olive became the most interesting recovery molecule in the Mediterranean diet.
Most olive oil on the shelf is optimized for a smooth, mild taste. That smoothness comes from late harvest olives. This is when the polyphenols are the lowest (and that peppery burn in the back of your throat disappears). So we took the same early harvest, high-phenolic Greek olive oil that powers Phenolia and made it available on its own for everyday cooking and meal prep, so you can get these compounds straight from your kitchen, too.
Experience ultra-high phenolic Greek extra virgin olive oil tested by independent, IOC-recognized laboratories.

"I've been taking it for a few weeks and I'm feeling more refreshed day over day after hard efforts on the bike."
It's the right question to ask. That concern comes from studies on megadoses of vitamins C and E, which directly mop up the reactive-oxygen signal your muscles use to adapt (Ristow 2009; Paulsen 2014). Olive polyphenols work on different pathways entirely: oleocanthal acts on the COX/prostaglandin pathway - parallel to, not the same as, the adaptation signal - while compounds like oleacein and hydroxytyrosol are indirect antioxidants that prompt your body to build up its own defenses rather than flooding the system. At a food-level daily dose, no published human study has shown olive polyphenols blunt training adaptation, and a trial in elite cyclists is underway now.
It's not another extreme protocol to bolt onto your stack, it's food. These are concentrated polyphenols from real olive oil, olive leaf, and Greek Mountain Tea, in one daily capsule. It slots underneath whatever you already do as a daily, food-based habit that supports the recovery you're already working for.
It's a chronic-use habit. These compounds build up over weeks of daily use to build circulating secoiridoid levels. So the sooner you start, the sooner you are supporting your recovery in a real way. And the Core 4 pricing ends September 1.
This isn't a stimulant. It's a chronic-use compound: daily consistency over weeks is the mechanism, not a same-day hit. Just like your daily training compounds, we believe that consistent polyphenols compound recovery in the same way.
